Accessibility statement
The menu is read by guests with low vision, in bright sunlight, on old devices. These are the measures we take, and the parts that depend on you.
01 Conformance target
We target WCAG 2.2 level AA for both the public menu page and the dashboard. Known deviations are recorded and fixed as a priority.
02 Colour contrast
Body text holds a ratio of at least 4.5:1 and headings 3:1. When you pick a venue colour, the system darkens it automatically wherever it becomes text, so a light brand colour cannot break legibility.
03 Size and zoom
Body text starts at 15px and prices at 17px. The page stays usable at 200% zoom with no horizontal scrolling, and we never disable pinch-to-zoom.
04 Structure and navigation
We use a correct heading hierarchy, semantic elements and a visible focus state on every link. Category navigation works with a keyboard and with a screen reader, without JavaScript.
05 States without colour
No information is conveyed by colour alone. “Sold out” is stated in words with the price struck through, so it reads for anyone who cannot tell the hues apart.
06 What depends on you
Item descriptions, photo alternative text and allergen labelling are written by you. We prompt you to fill in alt text for every photo you upload.
07 Reporting a problem
If you hit an accessibility barrier, write to hello@tapmenu.gr. We reply within 5 working days and state when the fix is expected.
